Trajectory Call Pitch

A pitching drill for the Development stage, on the range, in about 15 minutes.

Builds shot-shaping control by requiring a golfer to commit to a trajectory before the swing starts, rather than reacting after the fact.

Steps

  1. 01Set one target in an open field or range.
  2. 02Before each pitch, call out high or low out loud.
  3. 03Hit the pitch trying to match the called trajectory.
  4. 04Evaluate afterward whether the shot matched the call.
  5. 05Rotate calls so both trajectories get equal reps across the 8 balls.
