Agility Ladder Steps

A movement drill for the Development stage, at home, in about 10 minutes.

Builds footwork and coordination that supports a more athletic golf swing, through general movement training rather than golf-specific reps.

Steps

  1. 01Lay out an agility ladder, or mark squares on the ground with tape or chalk.
  2. 02Step through the ladder one foot per square at a normal pace.
  3. 03Repeat stepping two feet per square.
  4. 04Repeat with a simple side-step pattern through the ladder.
  5. 05Rest and repeat each pattern a second time.

Target

Try to move through each pattern more cleanly than the first pass.
