Splash to a Line

A bunker drill for the Development stage, on the range, in about 15 minutes.

Builds a consistent sand entry point by requiring the splash to consistently clear a drawn line, the technical follow-up to the foundations sandbox version.

Splash more balls cleanly past the line than your last set of 6.

Steps

  1. 01Draw a line in the sand a couple of inches behind where the ball will sit.
  2. 02Set a ball just in front of the line.
  3. 03Swing so the club enters right on the line and the sand splashes past a target point.
  4. 04Repeat for all 6 balls, checking entry point each time.
  5. 05Track how many of the 6 splash cleanly past the line.
